Study:  six out of ten Romanians state their satisfaction with their workplace

The percentage of the Romanians from the urban environment who state they are satisfied with their workplace is growing, from 55% in 2016 to 61% in 2019, shows a study of iSense Solutions made for the event Employer Branding Conference, in March of last year.

The growth of satisfaction at the workplace is even more visible on the segment of young people aged between 18 and 23 (77% this year versus 60% in 2016) and for the segment of 26-34 (from 58% in 2016 to 71% in 2019).

At the same time, a higher percentage of Romanian employees in the urban environment say that they have interesting or captivating activities at the workplace – 53% in 2019 vs.47% in 2016.

‘Similarly, the number of those who state they receive bonuses when they do a good job has increased, from 25% in 2016 to 30% in 2019. Moreover, the satisfaction of the benefits given by the employer is growing as well, from 23% some three years ago to 28% at present’ the press release says.

As regards the number of hours spent at work, this has slightly decreased from 8.5 hours/day in 2016 to 8.3 hours/day in 2019. Moreover, a little over half of the Romanians (55%)want a career at their present workplace. The percentage is slightly growing against 2016 when 51% stated this.

‘The reasons for which the Romanians want a career at the present workplace are: they get their salary on time (60%), they get on well with their workmates (59%) they are prepared for the domain where they work at present (52%), the job is interesting (49%), they feel their work is useful (44%) and they feel respected (43%), the press release says.
