The Economic and Commercial Diplomats' Club was launched by UCCBR

Promoting economic and commercial diplomacy, as well as the relations between business environments in Romania and other similar communities and organizations from the country and abroad are the main goals of the Economic and Commercial Diplomats' Club, an entity launched on Thursday evening during an event organized by the Union of Bilateral Chambers of Commerce of Romania (UCCBR).

The Economic and Commercial Diplomats' Club is an initiative started by UCCBR, through the organization's president, Nasty M. Vladoiu, who is also the president of the Bilateral Romania - Ukraine Chamber of Commerce.

Currently the club has 75 members consisting of representatives of foreign embassies accredited in Bucharest and presidents of bilateral chambers of commerce in Romania. The representatives of embassies are either ambassadors or Chargé d'Affairres, plenipotentiary ministers, economic or commercial attachés.

The club will have a publication of journal type that will include interviews, ideas, projects of representatives of the relevant diplomatic corps accredited in Bucharest, and of other representatives of Romanian and foreign authorities.

The Economic and Commercial Diplomats' Club is the first entity of this kind set up in Romania where economic diplomacy and one of its variations, the commercial diplomacy, is the main activity through which the specialists in commercial diplomacy and business representatives meet.

The Union of Bilateral Chambers of Commerce of Romania (UCCBR) was established in 1995 as a result of the decision of the Bilateral Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Romania to unite efforts in order to contribute substantially to the development of international economic cooperation between Romania and the partner countries represented by these chambers, through Economic Diplomacy.

The UCCBR is a legal entity, a collective member of the National Chamber, part of the National Chamber System, without political affiliation and non-profit.

Participating as a UCCBR member is open to all legal entities in Romania or from other countries that operate in Romania, which adhere and acknowledge its statute and which consider that through their work they may contribute to the development of foreign trade.
