The minister of economy Costin Borc: we have a healthy economic growth but with imbalance between imports and exports
The minister of economy Costin Borc stated on Friday in Constanta that the Romanian economy passes through a good moment which is appreciated in Brussels as well and it has ‘ an extraordinary moment to profit economicaly of this’ .
While in Constanta where he took part in ‘Invest in Romania’ an event organised by the Council of the Small and Medium private companies in Romania (CNIPMMR) Costin Borc said that Romania has a healthy economic growth but with imbalance between imports and exports.
‘The Romanian economy passes through a good moment. We have good economic growth we have a healthy economic growth but with an imbalance between imports and exports and we have to see how we could push the exports even better.But there is a good moment’ the minister stated.
He says that this was noticed in Brussels as well and Romania should profit.
„ ‘I was in Brussels for two days. What I saw in Brussels is a wonderful appreciation of Romania, of what happens in Romania of the economic growth, the things which are done and that is why I think it is a good moment to profit economically of these things’ Borc said.
On the other hand, the minister said that the Romanian economy will not be developed only by foreign and multinational investments and the solutions would be the industrial development on research and innovation centres.
He also said that Romania is very good at ‘ companies nursery’ but the Romanian future will be the putting to value of the intellectual capacities, of research and development.
