Vietnam wants to continue strengthening  the connections with Romania, states the Vietnamese minister of foreign affairs

The Vietnamese minister of foreign affairs Bui Thanh Son stated that his country appreciates and wants to continue to strengthen the tradition friendship and cooperation in all domains with Romania, says VNA.

During a reception organized in Hanoi, on 19th October for the ambassador of Romania to Vietnam, Cristina Romila, the head of Vietnamese diplomacy thanked Romania for offering an active and efficient help to Vietnam for the promotion of the signing of the agreement for free exchange EU-Vietnam (EVFTA).

 

He welcomed Romania as being one of the first three EU member states who approved EVFTA and suggested that both parties will collaborate to make the agreement effective for the benefit of both countries.

The Vietnamese official also thanked the Romanian government and people for the donation of 300,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine.

In her turn, ambassador Cristina Romila stated that, she herself and the Romanian Embassy to Hanoi will serve as bridge to encourage bilateral friendship and collaboration, as the leaders of the two countries want.
