Government: About 11,500 companies to benefit from IMM Invest Plus state aid
Mihai Constantin, spokesman for the government, announced that the Executive had decided to continue applying the support measures set up by the state aid IMM Invest Plus. He pointed out that the emergency order will support business and will facilitate company access to cash.
The government decided to continue the application of support measures set yp by IMM Invest Plus änd its components. The new state aid will be applied until June 30, 2024, that is financing accords can be issued by guarantee and counter guarantee funds.
About 11,500 companies in Romania will benefit from IMM Plus and its components: IMM Romania Plus, Agro Plus, IMM Prod Plus, Construct Plus, Innovation Plus and Rural Plus. A state aid program with a budget of about 12.5 billion lei, the equivalent of about 2.5 billion euros,” Mihai Constantin said.
Premier Marcel Ciolacu announced on Thursday, at the government meeting, that IMM Invest Plus would be extended this year too. “We continue to support Romanian capital, to extend, this year too, IMM Invest Plus state aid, with all its components. About 11,500 Romanian companies will benefit from this state aid, with a budget of about 2.5 billion euros. Support comes as grants, and credit warranties, and the maximum values of aid granted to companies have been increases,” said the premier.
