About 5.028 million pensioners at end February; average pension 1,072 lei
5,038,200 social security pensioners and farmers were registered at the end of February and the average pension was 1,072 lei, according to data centralized by the Labour and Social Justice Ministry (MMJS). 2018, 22,200 people received early pension (1,273 lei average pension), 83,400 people received partial early pension (842 lei average pension), 1st degree invalidity pension was given to 48,200 people (average pension 486 lei) and second degree invalidity pension - 238,400 people
(622 average pension). The same month pensions were granted to 4521,400 people (558 average pension), while 300 people received social aid (264 average pension).
