MFP completely rejects banks' offers for buying some benchmark-type bonds

The Public Finance Ministry (MFPP) on Thursday completely rejected the buying offers submitted by commercial banks for a benchmark-type bond issue, worth 300 million lei (about 66.166 million euros), with the maturity on April 29, 2020, according to the data remitted by MFP and the National Bank of Romania (BNR).The total offer of the banks stood at 688 million lei, but MFP found unacceptable the level of the price offered by ...
