Remedia drugstore company

Remedia drugstore company will carry out an investment programme worth 3.4 million lei, in the year 2009, according to the decisions of the General Assembly of the Shareholders, sent to Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB).

The company estimated a net profit of two million lei for the year 2009, after having made a loss of over three million lei in 2008. The total revenues estimated for 2009 amount to 157.5 million lei, and the total revenues to 154.8 million lei.

Remedia reported a net turnover worth 134.2 million lei in 2008, and a net turnover per share of 1.36 lei. The total revenues amounted to 139.6 million lei, and the total expenses stood at 142.7 million lei.

As regards the group of companies made up of Remedia, Sibmedica and Cosmifarm, it reported a loss worth 2.95 million lei in 2008 and a net turnover of 139.2 million lei. The total revenues of the group amounted to 145 million lei, the total spending to 147.9 million lei, and the revenues from sales of merchandise, to 135.9 million lei.

The company holds 45 drugstores in the counties of Hunedoara, Alba, Timis, Sibiu, for which it estimates sales worth 41 million lei in 2009, for the 5,200 products in its portfolio - drugs, cosmetics, teas, nutritive supplements. The rest of sales goes to hospitals - 18 percent of the total, drugstores other that those of its own - 40 percent, other clients - 14 percent.

Remedia distributes products of reputed brands, such as Pfizer, Baxter, Berna Biotech, Lannacher, Rowa Wagner. The debts to the suppliers now stand at around one million euros.This year, the company will open five new drugstores and two logistic centers, Agerpres informs.

More
