Boeing will extend the contracts with Romaero for plane parts
The American giant Boeing, one of the biggest plane builders in the world intends to extend the present contracts with the Romanian company Romaero from which the American group buys parts of its aircraft, stated for News.ro the manager for sales for Europe with Boeing Maarten Kluit who motivated the division by increasing the production of the model 737.
The manager was in Paris where the American group took part in Air Show 2017, the biggest event of the world air industry.
Romaero, specialisted company in maintenance and repair of planes for passengers or cargo has had contracts with Boeing for over 20 years, some direct, others through go-betweens, for whom they deliver different plane parts, made on the Baneasa platform.
‘Romaero has been a valuable partner of Boeing for many years. As you know, Boeing will increase production of 737 in the years to come which will allow the Romaero company to increase its mark in this partnership’ mentioned the Boeing representative, who appreciates the commercial relations of Boeing with Romania.
In his turn, Monty W,Oliver, senior vice-chairman in the Boeing group says that the air industry is growing and he is confident in its future.
‘We have seen growth over the last years. We are confident as regards the future of the Romanian air sector and we are happy to be part of it’ Oliver said for News.ro.
