Delphi Technologies, big producer of auto parts, opens an IT centre in Bucharest

A company producing propulsion systems for the automotive industry -Delphi Technologies opened the first IT center in Bucharest, with 150 employees, which will provide services for the company's technology centers, factories and support service divisions of the company.

"The Bucharest team will develop innovative technical solutions and services to support more than 20,000 employees worldwide," said Edward Mandic, Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Delphi Technologies, in a press  release.

The Bucharest office will accommodate up to 150 people to cover the basic functions such as security and IT compliance, IT architecture, IT operations, enterprise resource planning and delivering global solutions.

The investment  in Bucharest adds to the 300 million already invested in the production capacity in Iasi, which produces high-pressure pumps and injectors for the automotive industry.
