Ford Europe Co. seeks Daewoo Craiova takeover for EU-intended Ford brand production

Ford Motor Co. plans to take over the Craiova-based carmaker Daewoo (south) and thus expand its production capacity in order to cope with the rising demand in Europe, Ford of Europe chairman John Fleming stated on June 11.
