Four New Companies Listed On The Bucharest Stock Exchange
Romania’s equity market presence in the MSCI indices will increase to 26 companies from 1st of March 2024, following the quarterly index review conducted by global index provider MSCI in February this year.
According to the announcement, Romania will have four new companies listed in the MSCI Frontier IMI and MSCI Romania IMI indices in the small cap category. They are:
At the same time Transport Trade Services (TTS) shares will be upgraded from Small Cap to Mid Cap / Large Cap and will be part of the MSCI Frontier and MSCI Romania indices which include only Mid Cap and Large Cap companies. The MSCI announcement is available at the following LINK.
Also, according to the same announcement, the shares of Aquila Part Prod (AQ) will be excluded from MSCI Frontier Small Cap and MSCI Romania Small Cap indices as the market capitalization of the company exceeded the maximum allowed threshold of these indices.
