Romanian Post National Company had gross profit of 12.3 million lei in 2016
The Romanian Post National Company recorded in 2016 gross profit of 12.3 million lei. That was possible thanks to a continuous, sustained effort of stimulating increase and diversification of incomes obtained by the company in 2016, correlated with a lower level of overall preliminary expenses, a company press release shows.
2016 incomes were 1,124,093 million lei, 1.9% higher than in 2015, when they were 1,102,975 million lei.
2016 accounting data are preliminary until the end of financial exercise when new data could influence the initial result.
“Romanian Post continues its actions of economic financial consolidation in full convergence with the shareholders’ development policies and strategies and remains consistent with the trend of services increase and diversification. In this context, the company development strategy foresees development stages by introducing investments according to the need of implementing company projects for the diversification of its portfolio. The Romanian Post is backed in its development by some of the most important financial banking institutions, by shareholders support. Besides foreign financial sources the company also concentrates domestic resources to continue investments started in 2014, focussed on IT and operations (local transit centres, new post offices, technology, automobile fleet)”, the press release shows.
