TAROM company denies information referring to merger with Blue Air
TAROM national air operator denies information appeared in the press that it would merge with Blue Air or any other air company.
“Following the information appeared in the press lately, that TAROM Company is preparing a merger with Blue Air, TAROM mentions: As we said every time, the National Company of Romanian Air Transports is and will remain a national company and denies the merger with Blur Air or any other air company. The connection between TAROM and Blue Air resumes strictly to signing the bilateral interline accord implemented on March 15, about passenger protection in case of delays and the elimination of check-in formalities of cargo luggage for flights with stops operated by both companies,”a press release of the national air operator shows.
Blue Air announced on March 25 the signing of a bilateral interline accord with TAROM, based on which the private operator was extending its operational network and presence in Europe, the Middle East, and Northern Africa. The accord was implemented as of March 15, 2019.
