The general manager Renault Romania: we have 500 to recruite this year
The Renault group will continue to hire this year, especially engineers in the context where the company planning includes 500 people to be recruited this year and the production of parts increased on the Mioveni platform, and the salary increases in the public sector do not pressure recruitment, stated on Wednesday the manager of the Renault group Romania, Yves Caracatzanis, in a meeting with the journalists.
The plenary of the senate approved on Tuesday the Salary law which includes a series of salary increases for the employees in the public sector. Some managers and entrepreneurs complained about the advance of salaries in this area will pressure the private environment, as many companies fight against personnel deficit.
The general manager of the Renault Romania group does not see another problem in this area, although the company has in its plan to hire 500 people this year.
‘I don’t see another pressure coming from the salary increases in the public sector. We are waiting to see what is happening. We go on with the growth of the production of parts on the Mioveni platform. We are going on with hiring, especially engineers to develop complex projects and to remain competitive’ stated Caracatzanis.
The company has in its plan new hirings in the context where the production of parts increased, and Dacia sales advanced constantly in the last year.
There is growth of capacity at the Uzina Mecanica si Sasiuri Dacia this year, an example being the advance of the production capacity of gear boxes TLx type, which equips Duster.
The production increased at 12,000 units per week from 7,500 which were initially produced.
Caracatzanis drew the attention on the issues connected to infrastructure, an important chapter for the whole economy, but he looked confident in the capacity of the government to solve these issues.
