19 Romanian companies attend world's leading high-tech event - CeBIT in Hanover


A number of 19 Romanian companies, under the brand RomaniaIT, are attending the world's leading high-tech event showcasing digital IT and telecommunications solutions CeBIT 2013, taking place in Hanover, Germany between March 5-9, the Economy Ministry reports in a release sent to Agerpres.

The Romanian companies aim to identify new business and cooperation opportunities with foreign partners in projects to be implemented in Romania and other countries. The event draws together experts in the hardware and software field, innovative technologies, telecommunications systems, data protection systems, e-commerce.

This year, CeBIT's theme is shareconomy, with all the world's leaders in this domain considering that the progress of this sector in the period to come shall be determined by the way in which the relevant companies will manage to jointly use the resources, infrastructure and domains of production, beyond national borders and the companies' inherent limitations.

Romania's participation in this event falls into the National Export Promotion Programme, and it was organized by the Economy Ministry together with the Romanian Employers' Association of the Software and Services Industry.
