Analysis: Labor offer for Romanians abroad on the rise
Job offers for Romanians abroad has grown significantly in the past week, especially for skilled personnel, according to data offered by Bestjobs platform for the show “Profit.ro hour”on Prima TV.
According to Bestjobs, demands for physicians, nurses and home care personnel have grown in many European states.
A start-up in Germany in the fine tech field is looking for an IT engineer from Romania, offering him monthly wages of 6,000 euros. The job can be from home.
Germany is looking for plumbers, Belgium for truck drivers and Ireland for welders. Salaries vary between 2,000 and 2,500 euros per month.
Sales held pride of place in the hiring top this week, for positions of sales representatives, sales consultants pr sales assistants, Bestjobs data show. The finance/accounting field ranked second, with positions for accountants and specialists (financing, billing and payment processing). Specialists/ technicians came in third for mechanics, electricians and production engineers.
The best city for hiring was Timisoara, this week. At the same time, Brasov recorded a slight drop in job offer-demand, but remained in top 5 for the number of people hired.
The job with most applications was that of production manager for which 290 candidates applied.
The top of most wanted remote jobs was that for call center/client service, according to Bestjobs. It was followed by the financial/accounting field and by IT/telecommunications, sales and management.
The top of cities with the highest job offer remained almost the same, led by Bucharest and followed by Timisoara, Cluj Napoca, Iasi and Brasov. As for the most wanted fields with most offers there are sales, IT/telecommunications, financial/accounting, management, call center and engineering.
At the opposite pole, the top of cities with the poorest job offers is opened by Alexandria, followed by Calarasi, Slobozia, Vaslui and Giurgiu. The top of towns where people are the least looking for jobs opens with Vaslui, followed by Sfantu-Gheorghe, Calarasi, Slobozia and Lugoj.
The least sought jobs are beauty services, agriculture/ animal husbandry, security/military, cleaning, babysitting and tourism.
The classification of applications for new jobs, according to age categories opens by people aged between 25 and 34 (30.3%), followed by 35-44 years (21.5%), 45-54 years (18.4%), 18 – 25 years (11.7%) and 55-65 years (11.4%). People over 65 looking for jobs represent 6.4%.
According to Bestjobs, women looking for jobs represent 58.3%.
For the chapter of applications for jobs according to experience, the top opens with the middle level (42%), followed by entry level (41%), senior (10%) and executive (7%).
The Bestjobs platform points out that in August there were over 600,000 new job applications, 55% of them being in the white collar category, 35% blue collar and 10% gold collar category.
