BestJobs Study: 73% of employees give up new job without announcing employer about situations with which they do not agree
A BestJobs study shows that 73% of employees would give up new job without announcing their employer if situations they do not agree with appeared. At the same time for a quarter of employees, the obligation of vaccination could be another reason.
The source points out that 27% of respondents said they do not see necessary such a behavior and consider their leaving must be announced regardless of the reason that led to that decision.
Moreover, they consider that it would be immature not to announce, as valuable feedback may come out of the discussion with the employer.
At the opposite pole only 1% of respondents said they would renounce a new job if they found out the collective was mostly against vaccination.
At the same time, 54% of supporters of the decision to leave a job during the probation period without notifying the employer included among the reasons justifying such a behavior the lack of professionalism of colleagues or superiors, the discrepancy between conditions discussed during the interview and day by day reality, the infringement of usual work conditions by not observing program or the job difficulty degree or delays in paying salaries.
Another reason for which employees would give up a new job without looking lack would be getting an inheritance or winning the lottery in some cases without using a ticket as 17% of candidates who participated in the BestJobs survey say.
