Bucharest will host in May the international conference regarding transnational cooperation in the macroregion the Danube – the Black Sea

Transnational cooperation in the macro-region the Danube- the Black sea is on the agenda
of the discussions to be debated at the end of May in Bucharest during the event organized by the European Commission through DGMare – for maritime business and fishing, informs the Foundation Eurolink – Casa Europei in a press  release.


According to the organizers, the reunion welcomes experts and specialists in varied connecting domains, as well as leaders and decision-makers in all sectors of activity who support technological innovation and urban one as well as promotion of some key domains such as: conservation of biodiversity, Danube tourism and maritime tourism, transformative digitising, acqua-culture, fishing, etc.

The event in Romania, programmed for 31 May is part of the series of 100 conferences organized all over the European Union. The international conference ‘High Level Stakeholders Event’ is proposed by a partners consortium, under the name ‘Boosting transnational cooperation  through the Black Sea – Danube Macro-Regional Hub’


This consortium is made up of : the Macro-region Danube-the Black Sea (under the presidency of Cluj IT Cluster) the Honorary International cathedral ‘ Jean Bart’ in support of the EU Strategy for the Danube region (CIO-SUERD) project founded by the Eurolink-casa Europei Foundation in partnership with the Romanian Academy, the association ‘ Local Danube communities (CLDR – member of CoDCR) under the presidency of the Maritime University in Constanta.

The objectives of the event in Bucharest aim, on the one hand to the interconnection of the key elements which refer to Bleu entrepreneurship, Innovation and Investments’ and on the other hand, offer the possibility of re-activating of some new cooperation platforms in the area.
