Bulgarian Prosecutor General and Romanian counterpart sign Cooperation Agreement

 Prosecutor General Sotir Tsatsarov and his Romanian counterpart, Bogdan Licu, signed a Cooperation Agreement between the Romanian General Prosecutor's Office and the Bulgarian Prosecutor's Office in Sofia, Tsatsarov's office reported. Romania's Prosecutor General, Bogdan Licu, is on a visit to Bulgaria, BTA informs.

On the agenda of the visit is included a meeting between the Romanian delegation and the College of the Prosecutors of the Supreme Court of Justice of Bulgaria.

The agreement for cooperation which was signed has as objective the cooperation between the offices of the prosecutors in the two neighbouring countries and the establishment of a permanent mechanism for information exchange, including on specific investigations, mentions the general prosecutor’s office in Bulgaria.
