Companies on recyclable and construction waste market damage budget by over 8.2 million RON
Anti-fraud inspectors have identified a damage of 8.2 million RON caused to the state budget by companies active on the market of recyclable waste and construction in the Bucharest-Ilfov region, informs the National Fiscal Administration Agency (ANAF).
Inspectors of the General Anti-Fraud Tax Directorate (DGAF) within ANAF carried out control actions in October of this year at commercial companies in Bucharest-Ilfov that operate on the market of operators of recyclable waste and services in the field of construction.
"The audited companies recorded fictitious purchases of goods or services from various natural and legal persons in the accounting records, thus reducing the taxes and fees due to the general consolidated state budget and creating a legal appearance of the transactions. The damage caused to the state budget is 8.2 million RON, representing value added tax and profit tax. In order to continue the investigations, the criminal investigation bodies were notified, in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 241/2005 for the prevention and combating of tax evasion," ANAF points out.
