Dmitri Rogozin receives “Welcome to Romania” message upon arrival in Moldova
Russian deputy premier Dmitri Rogozin commented on social networks that upon his arrival in Moldova he received a “strange”short message on his phone with the text “Welcome to Romania”, according to the Chisinau media.
Rogozin arrived in Moldova on Tuesday for a two-day visit. The Russian official will meet Moldova’s minister of economy, deputy premier Octavian Calmac.
Rogozin commented on Facebook and Twitter: “I received a “strange” message on my phone when I arrived on Chisinau Airport. It said Welcome to Romania”, according to Publika.md and Unimedia.info.
After his visit in Chisinau. Rogozin will meet the leader of the pro-Russian separatist regime in Tiraspol, Evgeni Shevchuk.
Rogozin is the special representative of the Russian president Vladimir Putin for the separatist region of Transnistria.
