EduMin Deca, French ambassador Warnery discuss more Romanian-French high schools
An increase in the number of Romanian-French high schools, training teaching staff, co-operating in school inspection and dual education were some of the subjects addressed on Monday by Minister of Education Ligia Deca at a meeting with French ambassador in Romania Nicolas Warnery.
They also discussed support for Francophone university courses, and also about teaching the Romanian language in French educational establishments.
Also attending the meeting were Julien Chiappone-Lucchesi, diplomatic advisor, director of the French Institute in Romania, and Michael Koriche, attache for educational affairs.
"Romania and France already have a tradition of partnerships for education that is continued by the efforts that both countries make to the benefit of children and young people," Deca wrote in a social media post.
