EnergMin Burduja, Turkish counterpart Bayraktar discuss green energy co-operation
Romania's Energy Energy Minister Sebastian Burduja on Monday had a teleconference meeting with his Turkish counterpart Alparslan Bayraktar, with green energy co-operation being one of the main subjects discussed.
Other subjects regarded an exchange of know-how between specialists, co-operation in the field of green energy, opportunities for collaboration in the field of natural gas, as well as in the field of nuclear energy.
Burduja praised Turkey for its potential and key role in the regional energy architecture.
"By intensifying co-operation between the two countries , energy security of the natural gas transmission and transit is secured. The two officials appreciated their excellent co-operation and voiced their willingness to further develop the existing bilateral energy relationships," according to the Romanian Energy Ministry.
