Euro goes towards 4.76 lei, and the Sterling pound continues to go up and reaches the highest level over the last five months
The National Bank of Romania (BNR) announced on Wednesday a rate of exchange of 4.7537 lei/euro, up by 0.03%against the value reached on Tuesday. The sterling pound went up and reached the highest level over the last five months. On Tuesday euro went down at 4.7524 lei. On Wednesday euro went up at 4.7537 lei. The sterling pound went up from 5,4550 lei at 5,4855 lei. This is the highest level since 15 May, when it was 5,4865 lei.
The American dollar, indirectly quoted on the Romanian market by comparison to the parity euro/dollar, dropped from 4,3164 lei to 4,3082 lei. The exchange rate of the Swiss Franc dropped from 4,3241 lei to 4,3166 lei. This is the lowest level since 18 September, when it was 4,3067 lei.
The price of the gold gram dropped from 207,4267 lei to 205,4935 lei. This is the lowest level since 23 August, when it was 205,4478 lei.
