FDI increased by 270 million euros in October
The foreign direct investments (FDI) in Romania increased by 270 million euros in October and reached 2.784 billion euros ten months into this year, by almost 1.2 billion euros more year on year, according to the data released on Monday by the National Bank of Romania (BNR).
''The non-residents' direct investments in Romania totaled 2.784 billion euros, of which capital contributions (including estimated net reinvested profits) stood at 2.72 billion euros, and intra-group loans - a net of 65 million euros,'' the BNR informs.
In the first ten months of last year, the FDI totaled 1.591 billion euros, of which capital contributions (including reinvested profits) totaled 1.598 billion euros, and intra-group loans recorded a negative value of 7 million euros.
