FinMin Citu: Romania to submit guarantee of 393 million euros for SURE Programme to access 5 billion

Romania will have to submit a guarantee of 393 million euros to be able to attract funds under the SURE Programme of the EU, which focuses on active labour market measures, with our country to be able to access 5 billion euros through this programme, said Finance Minister Florin Citu.

"For the SURE Programme the guarantee is worth 393 million euros and, at this point, as this programme shows, we are able to access up to 5 billion euros. This is also the amount that we communicated to the European Commission, we are going for the maximum," said Citu, at the beginning of the Government meeting on Thursday.

He answered thus to a question from the PM, who asked him how much money Romania will have to pay as guarantee to be able to access the SURE Prigramme of the European Union.
