PACE President makes official visit to Romania
Anne Brasseur, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), will make an official visit to Romania on 3-5 September 2014, the PACE press office informs.
During her visit, she is due to meet in Bucharest the President of the Chamber of Deputies, the President of the Senate, the Prime Minister, the leaders of opposition parliamentary groups, the Romanian delegation to PACE and representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Justice and Interior. She will also visit the Cybercrime Programme Office of the Council of Europe.
Meetings are also scheduled in Craiova with representatives of local authorities, parliamentarians, MEPs and with representatives of academic and civil society.
PACE President Anne Brasseur and the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Valeriu Zgonea, will give a joint press conference on Wednesday 3 September at 6.15 pm at the Romanian Parliament .
