PNL issues “black book” of first year of PSD-ALDE rule
PNL ( liberal party, opposition) issued the “black book”of the first year of the coalition Alliance of Liberals and Democrats (ALDE, minor at rule -ed.n.) and Social Democratic Party ( PSD, major at rule - ed.n). The liberals said 2017 was a year lost for Romania and the campaign for parliamentary elections was “the biggest illusion sale” since 1989.
Ludovic Orban declared that the PSD-ALDE governing program is a “collection of lies”, includes 724 measures to be carried out and after a year of rule only 33 have been completely carried out, some of them being institutional rather than solutions.
“It is unacceptable to have an accomplishment of less than 5% for each activity domain, after a year of rule. Moreover, compared to what they promised included many things which had negative consequences and which were not presented in their campaign,” the PNL leader said.
He also presented the main liberal criticism against the rule, accusing the fact that budget expenses exceeded incomes.
“Unfortunately, expenses were not meant to development measures. The main increase is for personal and social expenses,”Orban said.
The PNL leader also claimed the following: all macroeconomic balances were destroyed; companies and people were overtaxed; state companies were robbed for 90% of their dividends and the money they had for maintenance; the national currency went down.
Ludovic Orban also spoke about “involution in vital fields”, such as education and health.
“In education we noticed the return to the communist period, the autonomy of education institutions were trampled”, he said.
The PNL president said the only real preoccupation of the present government majority was “to fight against independent justice, to do everything possible to subordinate justice.”
The liberals criticise in over 200 pages.
