President Iohannis had a lunch with the ambassadors of the EU member states accredited to Romania

President Klaus Iohannis on Thursday said he has talked with the EU member states' ambassadors about migration and the Paris terrorist attacks.

"I've talked about several topics, important to both EU and to us. I have also discussed about our role and place in the European Union, that we are willing to be part of the EU very core. I have talked about migration, refugees, about the fact that we should collaborate with the transit and origin countries to stop this wave of refugees. I've talked about the terrible terrorist attacks that took place in Paris and the ways to prevent such attacks and in general about the matters we have in view," the head of state said, after participating in a lunch with the ambassadors of the EU member states accredited to Romania.

He added that a lot of questions emerged and labeled the talk as having been very good.
