The schedule of Iohannis' visit also includes touring the site for the Giurgiu-Ruse connecting natural gas pipeline, an important project to the energy security of both countries and there geographical region, the Administration says.
At the same time, the Romanian head of state is scheduled to meet leaders of the Romanian community of Bulgaria and visit the Mihai Eminescu High School of Sofia that offers intensive Romanian language classes.
Iohannis will visit Plevna, Grivita and Pordim, three places that were important to Romania's independence and the freeing of Bulgaria.
