Saint Mary Fair, on Saturday and Sunday at Village Museum in Bucuresti

The National Village Museum ‘ Dimitrie Gusti’ organizes on Saturday and Sunday the Saint Mary Fair, an event which means to recapture the atmosphere of fairs  in the Romanian villages of the past around the festival for the Birth of Saint Mary, called Saint Little Mary, festival which means the end of the summer and the beginning of autumn.

Visitors can meet, at the fair, craftsmen, collectors and artists and can make objects in  potter workshops, objects from seeds and fruits and vegetables, as well as from textile fibres, show the organizers in a press release.

On Saturday and Sunday, starting at 11:00 there will be staged the musical ‘Insir’te margarite’ by Roman Vlad, director Dan Tudor, stage designer Viorica Petrovici, adaptation Ivona Cristescu from the famous play by Victor Eftimiu, show for children offered by Teatrul Muzical Ambasadorii which offers the first partnership with the National Village Museum ‘Dimitrie Gusti’ in the programme  SAMER ( The Artistic Summer Musical Season of Romania).

More
