Study: Romanian consumer's confidence, in the first two quarters of 2017, up by 15 points as compared to Q4 2016
The Romanian consumer's confidence has improved in the first two quarters of 2017, reaching 101, up by 15 points as compared to Q4 2016, according to Nielsen Consumer Confidence Index's research, released on Monday and valid for Q2 2017.
The survey's makers note that this increase is the outcome of a 16 per cent leap of the number of respondents who deem that their work perspectives are good or excellent (from 35 per cent in Q4 2016 to 51 per cent in Q2 2017). The confidence in the personal finances' situation has also grown by 12 per cent (up to 70 per cent), while 12 per cent more respondents (up to 45 per cent) believe the next 12 months are a good moment to purchase the goods they want.
The Nielsen research valid for Q2 2017 has unfolded online in 63 countries from 9 to 27 May 2017.
