TURNOVER OF MARKET SERVICES RENDERED MAINLY TO ENTERPRISES INCREASED BY 7.8% IN THE PERIOD 1.I-30.XI.2015

  • Compared to the previous month, in November 2015, the turnover of market services rendered mainly to enterprises, in nominal terms, increased both as gross series by 0.7% and as adjusted series by the number of working days and seasonality by 1.3%.

  • Compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, the turnover of market services rendered mainly to enterprises, in nominal terms, increased both as gross series by 8.1% and adjusted series by the number of working days and seasonality by 7.7%.

  • Compared to the period 1.I-30.XI.2014, in the period 1.I-30.XI.2015, the turnover of market services rendered mainly to enterprises increased, in nominal terms, both as gross series and as adjusted series by the number of working days and seasonality by 7.8% and by 7.7%, respectively

In January-November 2015, the nominal turnover of market services provided mainly to enterprises increased by 7.8pct year-on-year as gross series, the National Institute of Statistics announced on Friday. 

This was due to growth of computer services activities and information technology (+24.7pct), transports (+10.6pct), cinema production activities, video, TV programmes, broadcasting and transmission of programmes (+5.1pct), communications (+4.8pct) and other services provided mainly to enterprises (+3.1pct). 

"Between January 1 - November 2015, compared to the period January 1- November 30, 2014, in nominal terms, turnover from services provided mainly to enterprises, adjusted series by number of working days and seasonality, increased overall by 7.7pct due to increases recorded in computer services and information technology activities (+22.9pct), transports (+10.9pct), cinema production activities, video, TV programmes, broadcasting and transmission of programmes (+5.4pct), communication activities (+4.3pct) and in other services provided mainly to enterprises (+3.0pct)", INS informs. 

According to INS, turnover from services provided mainly to enterprises, gross series, in November 2015, compared to October, increased in nominal terms by 0.7pct due to increases in computer services and information technology activities (+15.8pct) and other services provided mainly to enterprises (+2.1pct). There were decreases in: transport activities (-4.0pct), cinema production activities, video, TV programmes, broadcasting and transmission of programmes (-0.9pct) and communication activities (-0.1pct). 

Moreover, in November 2015 compared to the previous month, turnover from services provided mainly to enterprises, adjusted series by number of working days and seasonality increased overall in nominal terms by 1.3pct due to increases recorded in other services provided mainly to enterprises (+2.7pct), computer services and information technology activities (+2.6pct) and in cinema production activities, video, TV programmes, broadcasting and transmission of programmes (+0.1pct). Decreases were reported in communication activities (-0.5pct). Transport activities remained at the same level. 

In November 2015, turnover from services provided to enterprises, gross series, increased overall in nominal terms by 8.1pct year-on-year due to increases in computer services and information technology activities (+25.7pct), cinema production activities, video, TV programmes, broadcasting and transmission of programmes (+9.4pct), transports (+8.2pct), communication activities (+5.4pct) and other services provided mainly to enterprises (+5.2pct). 

In November 2015, turnover from services provided mainly to enterprises, adjusted series by number of working days and seasonality, increased overall by 7.7pct year-on-year in nominal terms, due to increases in computer services and information technology activities (+26.9pct), cinema production activities, video, TV programmes, broadcasting and transmission of programmes (+11.8pct), transports (+7.5pct), communication activities (+5.9pct) and other services provided mainly to enterprises (+4.0pct).
