Unemployment rate falls to 2.98% in January

The unemployment rate registered at the national level was, in January 2024, 2.98%, lower than the one in January 2023 by 0.03 percentage points, the National Employment Agency (ANOFM) informs on Thursday through a press release.The total number of unemployed at the end of January 2024 was 239,815 people, higher by 4,179 people compared to the one registered at the end of the previous month.Of the total number of registered unemployed, 57,644 were unemployed ...
