Former president of Romania’s National Health Insurance House charged for EUR 8.6 mln bribes

The former president of Romania’s National Health Insurance House – CNAS, Lucian Duta, has been charged with bribery and placed under judicial control on bail, the National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) announced on last Tuesday, romania-insider.com reports. The prosecutors asked for a RON 4.5 million (EUR 1 million) bail. If he doesn’t cover the bail, Duta can be placed under house arrest or take into police ...
