Real Estate: Real estate sales dropped by 2.4% in March

The number of houses sold in the country dropped by 2,4% in March (minus 1,192 houses) compared to February, to 48.379, according to date supplied by the National Agency of Cadaster and Real Estate Advertising.

The number of houses, land and apartments which made the object of sales-purchase contracts at national level, in March 2020 was by 3.813 higher than in the same period of last year.

Most real estate sales were recorded in March 2020 in Bucharest -10,069, Ilfov – 3,617, Cluj -1,975. counties with fewest houses sold were in Caras Severin -299, Vaslui – 264 and Olt- 251.

The number of mortgages was 26,982 in March , by 1,602 fewer than in 2019. Most operations of the kind were recorded in Bucharest- 5.732, Ilfov – 2,190, and Cluj 1,620. At the opposite pole we find Salaj -81, Harghita – 68 and Gorj 67.

Counties where most farming lands were sold was 2020 were Dolj – 668, Timis -485 and Galati- 476.
