The UK: Dacia sale dropped by 42% in November
Sales of new cars in the UK recorded a rise of almost 3% in November the data suggesting a calming down of the uncertainty provoked by the Brexit, says Reuters.
Deliveries went up last month at 184,101 units, due to the increase on the part of companies, which compensated the drop in the sales to individual users, announced on Monday the Association of the Producers and the traders of vehicles in the UK (SMMT ).In the top of the best sold makes is Ford Fiesta, Vauxhall Astra, Volkswagen Golf, Vauxhall Corsa and Ford Focus.
In November, Dacia sold 1,405 vehicles on the British market, dropping by 42,37% against the similar period of 2015 when they registered 2,438 units.
The sales of new cars in the UK went up by 2.5 % between January – November 2016 at 2,51 million units. It is the first they delivered over 2.5 million vehicles in the first 11 months of the year and it is possible that at the end of the year they have sold more cars than last year – 2,63 million units.
In the top of the best sold makes is Ford Fiesta, Vauxhall Corsa, Ford Focus, Volkswagen Golf and Nissan Qashqai.
Between January – November 2016 Dacia sold on the British market 24,608 vehicles, up by 1,58% against the similar period of 2015 when they registered 24,225 units.
The UK is the second largest market in the EU after Germany, but before France, Italy and Spain.
