Vodafone's 4G network found fastest in Romania by Speedtest
Vodafone Romania has the fastest LTE mobile network in the country, according to tests conducted by end-users in Romania on 4G/LTE, 4G +/LTE-A and 4.5G connections in 2017 with the Speedtest by Ookla internet speed testing and analysis application, telecompaper.com reports.
The results of over 1.15 million tests carried out by mobile end-users in Romania in January-December 2017 show that Vodafone Romania's LTE network offers the highest average download and upload speeds of mobile data. Vodafone said tests showed it provides at least 12 percent and almost 7 percent higher upload and download speeds than any other operator and also has the slowest latency in mobile data transmission.
Vodafone Romania's Supernet 4.5G network was also certified recently as the best mobile network in Romania for the fourth consecutive year, achieving the highest overall score for the quality and performance of its voice and data services following tests conducted on all mobile networks in Romania by the independent auditor P3 communications. The tests took place in November and December 2017.
Speedtest Intelligence data collected through the tests results conducted by users over LTE connections between January and December 2017 shows Vodafone Romania is maintaining a winning performance, with average national upload speeds at least 12 percent higher and download speeds almost 7 percent higher than all the other mobile telecom providers on the market.
Recently, Vodafone Romania’s network, Supernet 4.5G, has been certified for the fourth consecutive year as the Best in Test mobile network in Romania, obtaining the highest total score for the quality and performance of its data and voice services, after measurements on all Romanian mobile networks conducted by the independent auditor P3 communications during November and December 2017.
