ANRE offered authorities for the setting up of five photovoltaic parks and a micro hydropower station

The committee for regulation of the National Authority for Regulation in the domain of Energy (ANRE) approved in the meeting of 22 July the authorisation for the setting up of five new photovoltaic projects and a micro hydropower station according to a document of the institution.

The project for the production of energy from renewable sources reached a total capacity of 4,689 MW at the end of May, the Transelectrica data show.

Thus, in the system, there were also wind projects with a power of 2,829 MW, photovoltaic parks with a total capacity of 1,200 MW, micro hydropower stations of 560 MW and basic projects of biomass with cumulated power of 100 MW.

At the end of February, in the system there were installed production capacity of renewable energy of 4,582 MW.
