Cernavoda NPP Unit 2, synchronised to National Energy System

The works related to the planned shutdown of the Cernavoda NPP Unit 2 have been completed and the synchronisation to the National Energy System was achieved on Thursday, June 15, 2023, informs Nuclearelectrica.Unit 2 entered the planned shutdown programme on 7 May 2023, in order to carry out planned maintenance works, performed every two years for each unit.
