MOL Romania builds LPG terminal in Tileagd following an investment of more than EUR 2.3M

* MOL Romania is building an LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) terminal at Tileagd (Bihor)

* The investment exceeds EUR2.3M

* The new terminal will be endowed with 4 LPG tanks; this is the first investment of this kind made by MOL Group in Romania

MOL Romania, the local branch of MOL Group, is on its way to completing the construction of an LPG terminal in Tileagd, Bihor County, the company infoms in a statement sent to ACTMedia. The investment in this construction exceeds EUR2.3M.

The terminal which will become fully operational in the second half of this year will be endowed with 4 tanks with a total capacity of 600 cubic meters. This is the first investment of this type made by MOL in Romania. The project will complement the asset base that MOL already owns at Tileagd, where a petroleum products warehouse has been operational since 1999. At this moment, the warehouse in Tileagd is operated by 20 employees.

This is the first LPG terminal that MOL is building in Romania. It is an investment decision that shows MOL Romania’s interest in diversifying its business and service portfolio for the customers,” stated Camelia ENE, Country Chairman & CEO MOL Romania.

In addition to the petroleum products warehouse in Tileagd, MOL Romania also runs a storage unit for petroleum products in Giurgiu. The warehouse in Giurgiu has direct access to river transportation on the Danube, it was commissioned in the spring of 2013 and is operated by 14 employees.
