Romania's top oil group Petrom SNPP.BX has bought Korned LLP, a firm that owns an exploration licence of an oil field neighbouring one of Petrom's in Kazakhstan for an undisclosed price, the firm said on Wednesday. Romania’s state-owned power grid operator Transelectrica (TEL.RO) raised, on January 1, the average tariff for electric power transport service by 5.4%, from 16.13 lei (EUR1=RON4.2265) per MWh to RON17MWh, the company said Monday.
