Projects of over 3,000 MW of solar energy to be installed in Romania, by 2025
More than 3,000 MW of solar energy will be installed in Romania, in the next two years, with financing from European funds, estimates REI specialists, a group of companies specialized in attracting European funds and state aid, with significant projects submitted last year to increase energy efficiency.
According to a company press release sent on Tuesday, more than 500 MW could enter on the market in the coming years and strictly refers to the projects submitted by the REI team throughout 2022, in two financing sessions - Component 6 of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) (the Energy Minsitry) - call opened last spring and a last allocation on Energy Schemes from the Large Infrastructure Operational Programme (POIM) - calls opened last fall and managed by the Ministry for European Investments and Projects (MIPE).
When it comes to the financing scheme opened last year by the Energy Ministry, with allocation from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), more than 700 companies applied, of which 500 applicants entered the final financing stage, after obtaining the necessary score and observing all the requested requirements.
