Romania may triple energy produced from renewable sources by 2020

The national production of energy from renewable sources may reach 171 TWh by 2020, from 53 TWh in 2005, if important investment is made in the sector, the President of the Romanian National Institute for the Study of Energy Sources (IRE), Jean Constantinescu has said.
