SOCAR opened the 15th filling station in Romania
SOCAR opened the 15th filling station in the network owned in Romania and has a budget of 50 million euro for the construction of new stations, after buying land, necessary to the expansion, in all the regions of the country, the Azer company announced on Tuesday.
‘The SOCAR investments in the retail network at national level are increasing. We are at the point of acquiring land for stations in all the country and soon you will see the stations under the brand of SOCAR in all the areas of Romania. We have planned for this year a budget of 50 million euro. The investment plan, the number of filling stations and the rhythm of national development in 2013 depend on the dynamics of the fuel market in Romania as well as the whole bureaucracy process for authorisation’ stated in a press release the general manager of SOCAR Romania, Hamza Karimov.
The company opened on Tuesday a filling station in Piatra Neamt after an investment of over one million euro.
SOCAR has 15 filling stations in Romania, in the North-East area, in Iasi, Botosani, Suceava and Neamt regions. The company aims at new units in Roman, Focsani, Buzau, Adjud, Bacau and Piatra Neamt.The investment for the network was over 22 million euro.
The oil company announced that they wanted to reach a network of 300 filling stations in Romania in some years.
