Romania's south, south-east to scorch at weekend

The National Weather Administration has issued a weather information of scorching heat for southern and southeastern Romania.

Temperatures will rise to 36-38 degrees Celsius on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and will even hit 39 C in some areas Saturday afternoon, the Forecaster said.

The temperature-to-humidity index will hit and pass the critical 80 mark of discomfort, it added.

The atmosphere will become increasingly unstable in western, central and northern Romania on Sunday.
