Over 513,000 women were shareholders or associates to the companies in Romania at the end of January
The number of women shareholders or associates in the companies in Romania was,at the end of January 2019 of 513,195, a share of 37,44%, a total of shareholders or associates says the data of the National Office of the Commerce Register (ONRC).
According to the presented data,the male shareholders or associates were a total of 857,384 (share of 62.56%) in the 936,706 active companies of Romania.
At the same time, the total number of associates/shareholders natural persons was during the mentioned period, of over 1,37 million.
The statistics depending on the share of female shareholders in the number of active companies in the counties show that in Tulcea county there was the highest percentage 41.5% (in the 7,312 companies) while at the other end is Harghita with 32.53% (in the 10.87 companies).
