The IT companies: the industry is looking for talented young people
The IT companies in Romania started actions of drawing the future employees from highschool, as this is a domain which needs more specialists than normally, the industry being willing to find talented young people, sends the Mediafax correspondent.
The general manager of Brinel, Marcel Borodi stated in Cluj-Napoca that the first step is awareness of the young people in highschool that IT is a challenging attractive domain which offers work places well paid and the next step is drawing the highschool young people to companies, to be shown what happens in reality.
He said that the universities which prepare IT specialists increased the number of places for students, but the number of candidates is not much higher.
In his turn, Dorin Pena, general manager of Cisco Romania stated that, the IT opportunities in Romania exist, as there many companies which want to hire personnel, but they do not find well-prepared people.
The two representatives of the IT companies mentioned the fact that they met people with a profession who change their job, being drawn by the perspectives.
The Brinel and Cisco compaies organised on Tuesday in Cluj-Napoca the conference ‘ Connecting Day’ where they had themes such as ‘ The cyber security for apps and solutions developers’ or ‘ Networking and direct interaction’.
