The taking over of the group Halewood by Alexandrion Holdings was authorised by the Competition Council
The competition council announced on Thursday that they authorised the trading through which The Alexandrion Holdings Limited took over the group of Halewood companies.
‘The competition authority analysed this operation and decided that there are no significant obstacles in the effective competition on the Romanian market or any substantial part of it, especially through the creation or the consolidation of a dominating position’ the authority for competition informed.
The decision will be published on the site of the competition authority, after the elimination of information with confidential character.
Alexandrion Holding Limited is part of the Alexandrion Group,a group with a multi-business structure,organised around production and trading of alcoholic beverages, especially spirits.
The Halewood group develops mainly activities of production, bottling,trading of wines, as well as other alcoholic beverages and non-alcoholic beverages on the territory of Romania. The companies to be taken over are those in the Halewood group, Halewood Organic, Halewood România, Halewood Wines, Vitis Murfatlar, Domeniile Halewood and Cramele Halewood.
